posted on December 4th 2013 in Arts & Drawing & Illustration & Inspiration & Photography & Uncategorized & Video with 1 Comments

Miraruido, a Basque illustrator, mixes old photographs with disturbing situations and scenarios.

Miraruido is the pseudonym of Joseba Elorza, Basque artist of whom little information is available, we know that he lives and works in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, and that his works have been published in various international magazines, from Esquire  to the  Sunday Times . On his website explains that the name “Miraruido” is composed of two Spanish words: mira (see) and ruido (noise).

His works are digital collages that combine old photos and wallpapers constructing surreal and impossible situations, as if they were photographs taken during a dream. The works in the form of posters are  for sale  on his website.
