Robert Doisneau. Paris en liberté in Rome

Robert Doisneau and Paris: the perfect couple that cannot be split if you’re talking about one of the most famous photographers of XX century.

More than 200 original photographies that Robert Doisneau took between 1934 and 1992 are exhibed at Palazzo delle Esposizione in Rome, Italy, from September 29, 2012 to January 3, 2013.

In the exhibition you’ll walk along the Sena river, gardens, glamourous fashion ateliers or art galleries of the French capital. here He preferred mostly black and white photography and his favorite subjets were children and Parisian people.

The exhibition is the first one of a series dedicated to the biggest French photographers from “Novecento”, sponsored by the Alinari Foundation with the collaboration of the Ville de Paris.
