In order to celebrate TripAdvisor 2019’s Hackathon I was tasked to design the visual identity of this year’s event and create a series of materials around it supporting the different happenings.
The main task was to design the art for the T-shirt, which resembles a mother board in which all the participating offices (London, Oxford, Lisbon, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston and Headquarters in Needham) appear represented by one of the most iconic landmarks of those cities.
The typography used is a very modern style font called Dual, which has an amazing set of glyphs to custom your lettering.
In addition to the T-shirt design, I also created some collateral materials like stickers for all participants, stickers for the winners, trophies, pint glasses, banners, posters and email campaigns.

New Year, new travel plans! As the cherry blossom season approaches, it’s time to get the itinerary ready for spring.
The map has been designed on Illustrator, showcasing a mix of Japanese elements: temples, food, culture… It has been placed over a very light Japanese-style background in a try to keep it clean and minimal. The use of colours is to highlight the red and white of the Japanese flag, with other pale colours that remind of the Hanami (cherry blossom).
The typography is also used to make the viewer travel to Japan. The title is in the modern Odachi font, a brush style font with an antique Japanese feel; the itinerary and subtitle are in Orkney, another sleek and elegant modern font with clean lines and neat corners, aligning to that Japanese minimalistic feeling.
This project included photography direction / production of the FW41 launch photoshoot and the drivers line-up (Sergey Sirotkin, Lance Stroll and Robert Kubica) photoshoot for 2018. The imagery was then used in the design of the official autograph cards for the season.
The idea was to do something different to everything that had been done before, showing an more personal aspect of the drivers, and focusing on producing something eye-appealing. The colour palette is the Williams Martini Racing colours.
Thanks Malky for the great shots we got 😉

A vintage and sophisticated take on a wedding invitation and RSVP set. Perfect for a wedding abroad or a couple that loves travel!
With personalised stamps and very well-thought details, the passport booklet contains all the wedding information, and the boarding pass serves as an RSVP invite.
Stickers with an emblem for the couple were made as well to close the envelopes.

One of my travel apps has reminded me today that the countdown to my next intercontinental trip is now down to 65 days left.
That’s why, and continuing with the tradition I started a couple of years ago, I’ve decided to create this illustrated map, showing the route I’ll be mostly following during my trip in Central America.
I will start in Costa Rica, and then travel all the way to Guatemala, passing through Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
Oxfam is an international confederation of 17 organisations working in approximately 90 countries worldwide to find solutions to poverty and related injustice around the world.
I worked with Oxfam to create and deliver a range of high quality, reliable and user-friendly communications products and platforms in order to communicate the Oxfam Strategic Plan 2013 – 2019. Part of that was the creation of this brochure which explained the new plans and actions for the confederation for the following 6 years.
